My client, a marketing financial services organisation, known for being a great place to work is looking for a passionate and experienced Test Lead to join their growing team at their head office in South Birmingham.

The Test Lead will be expected to ensure that standards required for the testing of all systems are met and ensure that all testing carried out by external parties, contractors and internal staff meets these standards.

You will deliver the testing of a project or scheduled release in accordance with the Test Strategy and ensure overall delivery of the deliverables in line with the agreed schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
*Assist Test Manager with negotiation of an approved testing scope, testing objectives and identify test constraints
*Production of a quality documented test approach to company standards.
*Ensure that the testing objectives for requirements approval are clearly defined by the business approvers
*Prepare test plans and provide testing estimates.
*Write and execute detailed test scripts.
*Assist business in requirements testing approval, co-ordinating UAT where appropriate.
*Undertake data preparation to support testing.
*Work alongside other Test Leads and co-ordinate the work of Test Analysts
*Provide oversight of third party testing
*Deliver the Test Strategy to give guidance on the necessary Test resources and oversee the development of Test Scenarios/Specifications
*Manage and liaise/communicate with stakeholders regarding change requests and Test Issues

Skills and Experience required:
*A proven track record in testing new systems and business processes.
*Broad experience of producing test strategies, test scripts and leading a test team.
*Excellent test planning and co-ordination skills
*A number of years of multi-discipline experience, preferably multi-organisation.
*Strong business acumen.
*Solid approach/understanding to the delivery and tracking of project benefits.
*Ability to take on challenging objectives and achieve them.
*Technical competence in computer skills, particularly use of project software and office productivity tools.
*Good written, oral, presentation and facilitation skills.
*Use of HP ALM system for Test Scripting, Test Execution, Reporting and Defect Management
*ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Software Testing
