Spring Technology are currently working in partnership with a market leading organisation within the energy sector to recruit a SharePoint Administrator with significant knowledge and experience of SharePoint.
As a SharePoint Administrator you will support the business in its adoption of SharePoint and the move using SharePoint in the Cloud - you will also cover other Office 365 applications.
*You will provide governance and advice on the use of Sharepoint to Business areas to improve their effectiveness and improve productivity.
*Work with Support Areas to Provide Guidance and support with their Promotion of Sharepoint and other O365 Products.
*Act as a single point of reference for Sharepoint Escalation adoption queries with the Local business Unit.
*Promotion of the Move away From Skype to Teams.
*Responsible for driving the use of Sharepoint and one drive to remove legacy data based on file servers
*Educate, train and advise the business on Office 365 core products: SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive
*Provide Support, guidance and governance to Projects in relation to the use of 0365 Products
*Creation and governance of process and documentation related to 0365,
*Work with our Asset and licence teams to ensure the compliance of our estate is not impacted.
*Ensure all incidents are updated in a regular, accurate and timely manner. Escalating incidents when required.
*Interface directly with all service delivery teams.
*Create, update and maintain technical knowledge base and documentation.
*Provide technical support and mentoring to other members of the team.
*Deep knowledge of Sharepoint both on premise and in the cloud with experience of all 5 office 365 core apps as a minimum. Including details on data governance and retention
*The role requires practical knowledge of a wide range of Infrastructure & Back Office products that can interface with the Sharepoint
*Knowledge of infrastructure technology to be able to advise on the selection of optimal solutions to business problems.
*Infrastructure design, maintenance and support techniques and procedures.
*ITIL Service Management principles including problem, availability and capacity management.
*Understanding of Active Directory and specifically managing object permissions
*Able to demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving.
