Service Forum Product Manager

So we're recruiting into a brand new role - Service Forum Product Manager - to help these teams work as well as they can, individually and together. DWP's Service Forum sits within digital group and offers advice and support on product and service design to our teams. We provide constructive challenge and ongoing advice and support to teams in the following areas: Delivering value to the department and citizens. Creating effective solutions that meet user needs. Following best practice and setting up for success. Meeting government and departmental standards. As our new Service Forum Product Manager you'll work with the Head of Product, Head of User-Centred Design - and with leaders across product design, delivery and architecture - to create and lead the Service Forum. You will: Define the vision, goals and metrics for service forum Manage stakeholder relationships, promote and champion the service forum Understand and manage the pipeline into the forum, working closely with our digital front door team Support and make recommendations to teams based on in depth research and determination of the options Lead work in the financial management, management information and workforce planning. What skills and experience do you need? Working across department or functional boundaries in order to effectively communicate a vision and gain stakeholder buy in. Applying agile principles to the assurance of digital services and products. Influencing stakeholders and managing relationships effectively. Building long term strategic relationships. Facilitates and delivers the business outcomes. Creating effective change and improving products or ways of working in relation to assurance of agile digital products. Monitoring actions to investigate patterns and trends to resolve problems, including consulting specialists where required. Identifying and engaging with users / stakeholders to collate user needs evidence. Details. Wages. Perks. You'll be based in your choice of our digital hubs in either Leeds, Newcastle or Sheffield. We work a hybrid model with 60% home working.
