Located in the heart of Banbury, Oxon, our school caters to up to 84 pupils aged 5 to 18 with a range of complex needs. We pride ourselves on creating a safe and nurturing atmosphere where academic progress goes hand-in-hand with emotional well-being and personal growth. \n\nYour Role and Responsibilities\n

As a SEN Class Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, addressing the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
\n
• Support the class team in creating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
\n
• Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
\n
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
\n
• Build positive relationships with your pupils, driving interaction and fostering positive learning outcomes.
\n

\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n

To thrive in this role, you should:

\n
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
\n
• Have a strong educational background, ideally to degree level.
\n
• Bring previous successful teaching experience, particularly with pupils who have SEMH needs.
\n
• Possess experience in behavior management techniques.
\n
• Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
\n
• Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.
