With our commitment to a sustainable future, a career with Kerry is something you can feel good about.About the roleWith a detailed understanding of Kerry’s technologies and strengths, and supported by Technology Centers, Marketing and Operations, the Sales Director acts as an expert entrepreneur to maintain and identify new business opportunities at GB&I Key Accounts assuring the best-in-class service and the complete awareness and responsiveness to their needs. The role is charged with ensuring the proposition of all Kerry’s multiple Technologies and the achievement of the Company’s commercial strategic goals and safeguarding the image of Kerry in that market.Home working is possible, travel is required (60% - mainly UK and Ireland).Key responsibilitiesDevelop a thorough understanding of all relevant Kerry Technologies related to Bakery.Stimulate Kerry brand enhancement to all Bakery Key Accounts.Discover new market trends Identify and prioritize new business and specific Key Account opportunities through the establishment of internal and external networks, and through the sourcing and application of good market intelligence.Customer Relationship Management Gain a clear understanding of key account business and requirements. Coordinate the technical, marketing and other resources necessary to meet or exceed these requirements. Introduce key Kerry personnel where appropriate.Ensure the key account is aware of Kerry’s organizational structure, heritage, culture, multiple technologies and strategic plans.Identify and create innovative opportunities with key account through market-driven presentations, insightful discussions and brainstorming sessions.Build lasting relationships at multiple levels (sales, technical, operations) between Kerry and the key account’s organization in the pursuit of long term, sustainable and profitable business.Prioritize and manage key account projects in collaboration with the Technical Development teams.Ensure that key accounts’ interests are clearly understood and defended by the Technical Development and Operations departments (sample turnaround, production scheduling, order delivery, etc) to provide best-in-class customer satisfaction and service.Negotiate sales terms and conditions, variations in price, delivery and product specificationsQualifications and skillsUniversity Degree - Food Technology; Food Engineering;.Demonstrable knowledge of the GB&I Bakery Category and its associated value chain (more than 10 years of experience)Fluent in EnglishEntrepreneurshipCommunication skills (communicate clearly, concisely, effectively written and oral)Effective presentation skillsLeadership and Management skills (coach, lead, motivate)Stand alone decision-making.Productivity (multitask, prioritize, work smart)Customer service orientationNegotiation skills (win/win, fact-based, diplomatic, firm, prepared)Interpersonal skillsStrong business acumenBusiness savvy (diplomatic, polished, resourceful)
