Sales Coordinator

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Coordinator. You will be joining a marketing leading medical company based in Solihull. This is a superb opportunity to join a progressive and friendly team. This is a full time, permanent position working 9:00-17:00 Monday to Friday paying an excellent salary of up to £25,000

This role will suit someone who enjoys working with external customers, internal departments, is able to remain calm under pressure and has a patient attitude. Someone who is an exceptional communicator, organised, enjoys processes, has excellent attention to detail and able to deal with problems efficiently.

You will need to have second to none customer service experience either in a similar position or have experience working within the medical/pharmaceutical industry. You will need a knowledge of SAP and good Excel skills. Experience of forecasting is preferred.

Principal Responsibilities of the role

Customer Services

  • To process all orders that arrives within the division on a daily basis so that orders arrive with the customer as quickly as possible.
  • To ensure deliveries are made in accordance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) regulations and that all relevant complaints are handled appropriately
  • To respond to all telephone requests and queries in a timely manner, ensuring that a high level of professional service is provided to customers at all times.
  • To resolve any invoice queries in a timely manner, ensuring that customers receive a satisfactory resolution as quickly as possible and KPI's are met in relation to DSO and disputed invoices.
  • To maintain and update individual account files, ensuring that all information retained is accurate and up to date.
  • Conduct pre-order checking to ensure that every order meets internal regulations, GDP requirements
  • Takes and processes orders and correspondence from customers; quotes prices and delivery dates
  • Processes and adjusts database for returned goods by entering orders, credits, etc. within parameters expedites emergency orders upon customer requests.
  • Liaises with couriers to track customer deliveries.
  • Daily invoice and order paperwork.
  • Manage the process of monthly forecast submissions, liaising with relevant colleagues / management to achieve forecasting KPI targets.
