We are looking for a digital Product Manager to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital. We're driving a once-in-a-generation transformation of government products and services. The DWP products and services we maintain and modernise will be used by nearly every person in the UK, at key moments in their lives. Delivering World-Class Products. In DWP our Product Managers manage the development of products that cut across modern innovative digital services. We are looking for you to join our Children's Digital team and provide customer focused digital solutions that underpin our key mission and passion of supporting families and ensuring positive outcomes for Children in the UK. You will work within a platform team owning various technical shared products and a multi-tenanted hosting and application development platform. Day to day you will: Own and manage several complex products or services simultaneously. Work with various stakeholders across DWP to define and agree roadmaps for all your products in line with DWP Business and DWP Digital Business plans. Work with scrum masters, engineers and architects within squads and agile delivery teams to set the priorities of the squad, constantly juggling the ever-changing demands and priorities around the squad but ensuring a consistent and logical delivery thread is maintained throughout. Understand the business processes and activities that impact and that are impacted by the product or service whilst developing an understanding of how the product or service aligns with the wider strategy of the department. Lead initiatives and champion continual learning and development within the Product Management community. Be a leading member of the Product Management community, taking online management responsibilities. What skills, knowledge and experience will you need? Demonstrable skills within product Management and ownership activities within complex technology environments The ability to show evidence of communicating value proposition for technical underpinning products and platforms and linking to higher order business plans and objectives Experience of working collaboratively within an agile environment to steer the direction of the teams and deliver the best outcomes. Knowledge of building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation and key external partners. Skills in turning high level and roadmap concepts into actionable backlogs and tasks. Details. Wages. Perks.
