Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Primary

Location: North SheffieldStart Date: Immediate / ASAPPay: £100 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)Agency: Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a supportive primary school in North Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HLTA looking to take on additional responsibility and play a key role in supporting teaching and learning.

The Role:
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher

  • Providing whole-class cover across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

  • Leading targeted interventions to raise pupil attainment

  • Supporting pupils with SEN and additional needs

  • Assisting with planning, preparation and assessment

  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Hold HLTA status or an equivalent qualification

  • Have recent experience within a UK primary school

  • Be confident leading a class independently

  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills

  • Be flexible, proactive and reliable
