Working as part of a busy HR team, the HR Business Partner will deliver a professional, high quality HR service within the organisation, leading on a full range of HR matters, ensuring legislation, policy and best practice are followed.Client DetailsMy client is a leading Third Sector organisation.DescriptionKey responsibilities:Coach and advise managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, attendance, disciplinary, grievance and employee engagementAdvise and assist in the development of action plans to manage employee relations, employee development and employee wellbeing issuesLead on the delivery and implementation of all HR policies, issues and legislationProvide confidential and independent advice and support to managers, employees, apprentices and volunteersIdentify solutions to HR issues and present options and ways forwardSupport and advise managers on change management programmes, including restructuring, TUPE, and redundancyAct as the first point of contact for any queries coming into the HR DepartmentEnsure managers fully understand HR policies and procedures in relation to disciplinary, capability, grievance, probationary review, and performanceEnsure the integrity of all HR and Health, Safety & Wellbeing processes, systems and documentation in accordance with legislation, best practice and organisational requirementsSupport the HR Manager in the development and review of HR policies, documentation, guidance, toolkits, and handbooksAssist in the design and implementation of efficient HR administration processesUndertake project work as required to ensure continuous improvement in current HR working practicesProvide advice and support to managers on recruitment and selection processesSupport managers on the development of job descriptions and person specificationsProduce job adverts and advertise vacancies, where necessaryManage all stages of the recruitment and selection process for new and job role changesProvide advice to managers on different types of contracts of employmentCoach managers on performance management processesEnsure safeguarding is monitored and HR policies are adhered toEnsure new employees are effectively inducted and integrated into the organisationLiaise with managers to identify learning and development requirements and propose appropriate solutionsSupport the design and delivery of HR-related training activitiesKeep up to date with changes in employment legislation and best practiceCollate and report monthly HR management informationProvide accurate HR reporting information to support decision makingProfileChartered membership of the CIPDExcellent knowledge and understanding of employment legislation, equality and diversity issues and HR best practiceKnowledge of HR policies and practicesExperience of providing advice and support on a range of key HR activities including conduct, grievance, capability, absence, organisational change, and employee relations mattersExperience of advising managers on sickness and absence mattersExperience of supporting the development of HR strategies, policies, and proceduresExperience of delivering HR-related projectsExperience of advising managers on recruitmentExperience of working with Trade UnionsExperience of dealing with TUPE transfersAbility to deal with difficult situations and communicate complex and sensitive informationExcellent communication skillsAbility to work under pressure to meet deadlinesJob OfferSalary of £32,798 - £36,371 per annumExcellent company benefits, including a lucrative rewards package, 27 days holiday PLUS bank holidays, and an excellent pension scheme
