HR Advisor (Temp 4 months)

The HR Advisor will join a busy HR team on a 4-month temporary contract and will support on a variety of HR and ER matters, as well as building strong working relationships with managers and stakeholders.Client DetailsMy client is a Global business, based in Newcastle upon Tyne.DescriptionKey responsibilities:Manage a portfolio of ER casework, including scheduling and prioritising activitiesProvide expert advice in line with company policy, legislation and best practiceOffer a business-focused resolution to complex HR casesProvide advice to line managers on absence management and related issuesProvide current and relevant advice on employment legislationAssist in the development and review of HR policies and proceduresProvide support to line managers on performance management issuesMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records regarding ER mattersComplete ad hoc administrative duties as requiredLiaise with the Payroll manager ad support with reportingManagement of leavers, including processing holidays and conducting exit interviewsLiaise with Recruitment Agencies in relation to any urgent recruitmentProvide advice on flexible working requestsManagement of Employee benefits and reward schemesProcess Maternity and Paternity queriesProfilePrevious experience at HR Advisor-levelExcellent ER experience and knowledge of Employment LawMust be available at short notice - 1 week maxExcellent communication and skillsAbility to meet deadlinesJob Offer£18.00 per hour /£35,000 per annumRemote working available
