Electrician

• Experience as an electrician within an industrial or commercial environment (ideal for those looking to grow their industrial exposure).
• City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Strong hands-on skills in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs.
• Good understanding of safe working practices and adherence to health & safety standards.
• Computer literacy for reporting and documentation.

• City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification.
• Experience with three-phase motors and control systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Background in Facilities Management or multi-disciplinary site work.
• Certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, manual handling, working at height, asbestos awareness.

• A practical, solutions-focused mindset when dealing with electrical issues.
• Ability to work independently and use good judgement when responding to faults.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues and contractors.
• Willingness to work at height when required and support occasional out-of-hours maintenance.
• Commitment to promoting and maintaining safe working practices across the site.
