Customer Service Representative - Energy

Adecco Croydon are proud to be working with a fantastic client based in the heart of Croydon recruiting for a Customer Care Representative within the Energy sector.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in an exciting and growing energy supply company where you will be integral in dealing with customer's requests. You will play a vital role, by providing efficient resolutions to an array of customer contacts and assisting in driving up our standards by helping to identify customer queries triggers and drivers. You will be based within our Customer Care team, to assist with monitoring the level of customer's contact received.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Resolve customer inquiries with speed and precision.
  • Multitask between several different work streams to support customer demand.
  • Deliver a service where patience, empathy and building rapport are central.
  • Ensure all internal processes and procedures are adhered to until the contact is resolved.
  • Recognise, identify and feedback trends in type and nature of customer queries.
  • Continually assess ways in which we can improve processes, to work more efficiently and provide a better customer experience.
  • Provide support to the newer members of the team.
  • Carry out ad hoc duties as requested by the Managers/Team Leaders.
  • Innovate, create solutions and engage with colleagues and customers in a friendly professional way.
  • Comply with company's policies and practices

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to show attention to detail.
  • Problem solving and strong communications skills.
  • Customer focused approach to work, with an understanding of customer service and the impact on customers and the business.
  • Customer Service experience.
  • Experience in providing excellent customer care.
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations, work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving /troubleshooting skills.
  • A team player.
  • Take ownership of situations with positivity and a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, engaging environment.
  • Strive to identify patterns in the needs and expectations of the customers, anticipating and solving complications the customer may encounter after their first interaction.

Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience
