Are you an experienced SEN Support Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to join a fantastic school in Blackpool.

The Role

As a 1:1 SEN Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs
  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Support the pupil's academic, social, and emotional development
  • Help create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment

  • Previous SEN experience - essential
  • A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to adapt and respond to individual needs
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
